Bad news…

After new medical tests, Juan Carlos Ferrero is withdrawn in Barcelona.

After travelling to Barcelona last Thursday to get ready for the Barcelona Open “Conde de Godó” and visiting the Spanish team doctor, Juan Carlos has been told not to take part in the tournament where he reappeared last year after a long knee injurt. Now, he is still in Barcelona for continuing training and getting fit next to his national partners and trying to be back to the circuit for the Madrid Open which will take place next week.

It seems everything is a little bit better now. It seemed like I wasn’t able to play without plastering in a long time and yesterday, finally, I could rest without it. Results has arrived directly, today I have been training with Nico Almagro with my two handed backhand! You can see it in the picture enclosed to this news. Hope I could be ready for Montecarlo. I’ll keep you informed! Hugs for all of you and thanks for all your comments!

For the pic, see the previous post. I cracked up over that title though, “bye bye, plaster!”

After a bronchitis and a fissure on his left wrist, Juan Carlos is ready to start again!

After some negative weeks where Juan Carlos was withdrawal of all the tournaments since Indian Wells, he is already back to his current trainings as, although he went back a week ago, he just could play with a slice backhand. Today, after taking off the plaster which protected his left wrist, has been able to start playing with his huge two handed backhand. Moreover, all the syntoms of his bronchitis are almost desappeared so, if everything continues like this, he will be able to come back to the ATP circuit for the Montecarlo Open 1000.

Bronchitis? He really hasn’t much luck! VAMOS for Montecarlo!
